The Music Communicator
Music doesn’t happen in separate apps.
You make a record with people. You put on a night, play someone else’s show, find a label through a friend. The recordings, the conversations and the places are all connected. But online, you keep starting again — another profile, another upload, another link to send people somewhere else.
Talisman brings those things together. Somewhere to release your music, get paid, talk to the people listening, and work with the people making it with you.
Your masters stay yours. You decide who gets what share. Listeners pay for the time they listen, or buy a release to keep. Talisman takes 5% after payment processing, scaling down to 1% as the network grows. Your music isn’t used to train AI.
You can also do things that go beyond ordinary streaming. Release a record that only plays at sunset on the listener’s nearest beach. Leave a song at a place that means something to you, for someone to find on foot. Or align the weather, people, moon, planets and place types with your music to create experimental and rare releases.
In a world of music that feels weightless, Talisman aims to return the experience to ritual. To give music a place, a moment, and a reason to mean something again.
Talisman is not-for-profit, built toward artist sovereignty — control over your music, how it reaches people, and the terms you share it on.
We’re in private beta. There’s still work to do, and we need artists to use it and tell us what’s missing.
Bring your music.
Artists join in waves, with an invite code. If you have one, create your account. If not, write to us about your music.
